Most people understand that exercise is good for the body, mind, and spirit, yet very few Americans participate in a supervised exercise program with a personal trainer. Some of the blame for that can be attributed to the perception that personal trainers exist only to punish or exhaust their clients. The reality is that anybody, certified trainer or not, can make someone else sweaty, sore, and tired.
There are also a lot of people that masquerade as personal trainers. For many of these “experts,” personal training is a hobby, or a way to supplement their real career. Not at RPI. We are at the forefront of exercise science and nutritional research. We will not waste your time with inefficient training methods or ridiculous nutritional dogma. Part-time trainers don’t work here. Would you want a part-time lawyer or doctor? We work hard to make exercise easy for you. Our goal is to educate, inspire, and motivate you to be at your best, and ensure that you always leave RPI feeling great.
